Captured live onstage at a variety of dates between 1990 and 1991, AC/DC Live finds the band in ferocious, well-honed form. With good reason. The Razor’s Edge contained some of their tightest songs in years, most notably “Thunderstruck”. The boys had been out headlining the Monsters of Rock tour (ahead of Metallica and Mötley Crüe), and were proving just how necessary it was to create unfettered, muscular rock ’n’ roll. This recording captures the energy, excitement and overall insanity that was whipping through arenas around the world as the band tear into “Hells Bells”, “Shoot to Thrill” and an extended “For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)”.
