Jones and her unbeatable band sizzle through such signature cuts as the darkly funky “I Learned the Hard Way” and the horn-kicked “100 Days, 100 Nights”, both steeped in romantic remorse. The soundtrack closes with the stunning exclusive track “I’m Still Here”, capturing Jones at her most autobiographical. The film, which follows Jones’ 2013 struggle with cancer, became even more bittersweet after her death three years later.
